IMO Powder
Isomalto-oligosaccharide (IMO) powder is a fine white, amorphous powder composed of short-chain carbohydrates, including isomaltose, panose, and isomaltotriose, with smaller amounts of glucose and maltose. White to light yellow in colour with a sweet but less intense taste than sugar. Offers high solubility, stability in pH 4–6, resistance to crystallization, relatively low viscosity, and low glycemic index.
High levels of purity
Free from adulterants, fermented smell, dirt, and extraneous matter.

Viscosifying
Improves the viscosity and body of food products.

Thickening
Enhances the consistency of sauces, soups, and other liquid products.
High Glycemic Index
Rapidly absorbed by the body and serves as a quick source of energy.

Binder
It creates a cohesive structural network by holding ingredients together, managing water distribution, and stabilizing emulsions.
Easily Digestible
It is classified as a slowly digestible carbohydrate rather than a fully indigestible dietary fiber.
Filler
It replaces the structural volume lost when removing sugar or fat without adding intense sweetness or excessive calories.
Prevents
prevents several physical, structural, and chemical defects.
Features
Applications
Helps maintain softness and freshness in cakes, muffins, cookies, and other baked products. Slows moisture loss, helping extend shelf life and maintain a soft texture.
Confectionery
Added to candies, gummies, biscuits, and breads to improve texture, lower sugar content, and extend shelf life.
Beverages
Mixes smoothly into hot or cold drinks like teas, coffees, and functional energy drinks for mild sweetness.
Dairy
